Sports Physiotherapy
Red Hill Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre continues to provide services to individual athletes, sports teams, and sporting clubs. We are currently assisting the following groups.

- Mayne Aussie Rules Club, including QAFL first grade side

- Several golf professionals

- Queensland Scorchers National Hockey League Team
- Queensland Womens Hockey Teams (U15, U18, U21)
- Brisbane Womens Hockey Teams (all junior & senior teams)
- Marist College Ashgrove Sports Teams, including First XV Rugby
- The Gap Womens Premier League soccer team
We work with many individual athletes across a range of sports. Services we offer individuals and teams include:
- Injury diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation
- Pre-season screening, development of specific training regimes to maximise an individuals performance and minimise injury risk, and in-season monitoring of this program
- Ongoing maintenance therapy or "tune ups" as required, to help an athlete perform consistently at their best, with fewer injuries
- Biomechanical assessment & treatment to improve sports technique (ie performance) where appropriate. Please note that this is not coaching, rather we aim to identify any physical factors that are preventing you & your coach from helping you to develop perfect technique. These physical factors might be for example, a restriction in hip rotation in your golf swing that causes you to slice the ball. Sports which we have extensive experience in performing biomechanical assessments on include:
- Running / athletics / running sports
- Swimming (all strokes)
- Cycling, including bike set-up to maximise performance & minimise injury
- Golf swing analysis
